The Woman Strong

Dana’s Thirty-One Gifts

I met Dana during our freshman year at the University of Indianapolis. We were both studying elementary education and both of our guys ran cross country. Because our men ran something like 10 miles together a day (I’m just guessing on that figure – but I know it was a lot), I remember we once tried to run together near her apartment. Let’s just say our stamina with Zima and Jolly Ranchers on Friday nights faired better than our running experience.

We both were engaged while still in college and were in each other’s weddings. I wasn’t nearly as cute as Dana nor did I pick as well (she’s still married to the same man). She taught for awhile but left the classroom to be home with her three children. She began selling Thirty-One products for extra Christmas money but fell in love with the company, what they stood for, and their products. She saw the potential with the business and a little over 8 years later Dana has earned 7 all-inclusive trips for her and her honey!

If you happen to need a personalized bag or want to learn some tips on how to transform a side gig into business, she’s your lady. Thirty-One has branched out into other personalized decorative items, as well as pillows and wall art. Knowing they are a worthwhile company that treats women right makes them definitely worth a click to browse.
