Fitness Fortitude
I can honestly say I am healthier in my 40s than I have ever been. Not skinnier mind you, but healthier. When I was a teenager, I could consume a bag of chips and a pop every day for lunch and still fit into my clothes. I gained weight during three pregnancies and lost weight with a divorce. I work out near daily, more to stay sane than any lofty goal. I ran the mini marathon, so – been there, done that, and my knees prefer I don’t mess with that again. I’m more mindful of what I use to fuel my body than I’ve ever been, but I also believe that it would be a sin to not appreciate the beautiful combination of chocolate and peanut butter. The following blog posts all have a focus of fitness and health.
