The Master Bedroom of my project home had filthy carpet with a stained subfloor underneath, a hole in the wall and an ornamental arch over the window that was begging to go. Patching, painting, Dad as reinforcement for curtains, and a paper bag floor all helped to make this my serene daily get-away.
